Industrial Electrical & Automation Panels
Automatic Transfer Switch Panel | Power Control & Automatic Source Transfer Panel
Specialized design and manufacturing of ATS panels for fast and safe transfer of electrical loads between two or more power sources, such as the grid, generators, and other emergency sources.
From engineering and design to the selection of transfer equipment, power switches, control circuits, protection, control, wiring, testing, and commissioning, tailored to the requirements of each project.
What is an ATS Panel?
An ATS or
Automatic Transfer Switch Panel
is designed for the automatic transfer of electrical loads between two or more power sources. This panel is typically used in systems where continuity of power supply and the availability of energy for sensitive loads are of high importance.
In a typical ATS system, the main source, such as the grid, is continuously monitored. In the event of a power outage, voltage drop, or if source parameters fall outside the allowed range, a command is issued to transfer the load to a backup source, such as a generator.
After the main source returns and stabilizes, the system can, based on the defined control logic, transfer the load back to the main source and prepare the backup source for shutdown or cooling. This process is carried out based on the system design and the equipment used.
Automatic transfer of load from the main source to the backup source under defined conditions.
Monitoring source status and parameters to detect conditions suitable for load transfer.
Using interlocks and control logic to prevent unintended connection of sources to each other.
Re-transferring the load to the main source after it returns and stabilizes, according to system settings.
Using an automatic transfer switch panel ensures continuity of power supply to critical loads and automatic management of power sources in relevant applications.
Helping to maintain the supply of critical loads by automatically transferring between power sources.
Using interlocks, protection, and control logic for safe source management.
Executing the transfer process without the need for manual intervention under defined conditions.
Automatic control of main and backup sources and management of the load transfer process.
Panel equipment is selected based on load current, source type, generator capacity, grid conditions, transfer type, and project requirements.
The main load transfer equipment which can include motorized power switches or a dedicated Transfer Switch based on the design.
Using ACB, MCCB, or other switching equipment compatible with system current and short-circuit levels.
Intelligent controller for monitoring sources, detecting power status, and executing load transfer and return logic.
Mechanical and electrical interlocks to prevent simultaneous and unintended connection of power sources.
Protection against overcurrent, short circuit, and other protections required based on system design.
Capability to send Start/Stop commands to the generator and receive status signals as needed, per design.
Measuring and displaying voltage, current, frequency, and other electrical parameters required for the project.
Push-buttons, selector switches, signal lamps, control relays, and necessary equipment for manual/automatic control.
Design of enclosure, protection degree (IP), dimensions, equipment layout, and accessibility based on installation conditions and requirements.
Final specifications are determined based on load current, number and type of sources, generator capacity, grid conditions, and project requirements.
